Tot couture: Keep kids fashionable

Infants are only concerned about being fed or clean. Toddlers often just want to be left alone, until they want mommy.
And well, the older ones — those we’ve come to call tweens — don’t have much income except for their allowance.
But if you look at store displays and what your kids are wearing to the park or on play dates, you’re likely to find that the young set are as trendy and fashionable as their parents. Sometimes, even more.
“Kids are the most precious things we have. And they are only going to be that age once. So parents try to make the most of it, having fun and letting them have fun,” she said.
toddlers can probably be described in one word — adorable.
At the Baby Shoppe, parents can find Baby Tea, a line of separates that mix and match for play wear. Pastels are very popular and the prints are all about fun.
If you think baby boys can’t be adorable, you’re wrong. Just try a romper on your 1-year-old, and you’ll see.
Finding the right clothes for children, whether infants or the opinionated 12-year-old is a balancing act. Parents want their children to be comfortable but also to enjoy what they’re wearing.
Guadalupe Martinez, a mother of two girls and a boy, knows that shopping with her girls has to be an all-day affair.
“I like to take my time when I’m shopping for me,” she said. “So I am patient with them and we go

What a sweetie dress! We were at friends’ house yesterday after church (ivory party dress)…they had chocolate fondue! Chocolate on ivory! OH JOY!
