Toddlers + Vanilla Frappuccino = Bad Idea

pop.jpg

Its really hot in Texas so we decided to give him sugar free popsicles . Can you tell his happy? I’m sticking to sugar free treats from now on because we were at Starbucks yesterday and I gave him some of my vanilla frappuccino and it turned out to be a really bad idea! It was non stop jumping he was everywhere. I’ve never seen him so excited and full of energy and I never thought he could ever get any more hyper than he already was. He was babbling, and spinning, jumping, crawling around ,picking up and touching everything he could get his hands on. It was like he drank 10 red bulls and when into fast forward. We all had a pretty good laugh, and it took hours for him to calm down, so I learned a very valuable lesson as a new mom, NEVER EVER give your toddler vanilla frappuccino or anything too sweet. The results will vary but you will have your work cut out for you trust me!

He is one little cutie. Thank you for the comment on my site. I have a problem with caffeine too. My son and I both go crazy when we drink caffeine. My husband and daughters have no problems at all. It is weird how one thing can effect one person and not another.

Your son is too cute! I gave my son a vanilla frap once and he has never had another again. haha. He’s a little older now so he gets milkshakes sometimes, but we try to limit the sugary drink intake. The worst part is when the kids come off of their sugar high…I don’t know about your child, by my kids will get crazy mean. Not fun. Cute blog!

Ohhh..the beauty of the toddler sugar-high. It only takes a few fruit snacks for my daughter to act like she someone mainlined sugar right into her little system. She can’t sit still….bouncing, jumping, shaking her head, refusing to make eye contact….I know JUST how you feel. Boy is he a cutie!

I like your blog! You visited me way back during the ultimate blog party..I was so new to the whole thing, I am just now working my way through my wonderful visitors. Thank you for coming by!
