Kid Friendly or Are You Kidding: Tot-Tye
Can’t keep your kid seated at the dinner table? Maybe you should give Tribal Green’s Tot-Tye a tug. The organic cotton device ($28) ties children to their seats with two straps.
For parents in a bind, the Tot-Tye may provide temporary relief, but some wee ones would probably still manage to wiggle their way out of the restraint.
What do you think of the Tot-Tye?

It looks like a good idea and it’s organic, always a plus. Honestly, It seems silly. How many kids can sit calmly tied to a chair? Maybe they can.
I would expect lots of stares from concerned onlookers wondering why a child is tied up.
Knowing my own kids the Tot-tye would probably work for about five minutes and then they would thrash about trying to escape probably knocking the chair back while everyone watches in horror.
I prefer the restraint of a high chair, but there are times traditional high chairs aren’t available. So maybe this product might do the trick.
I’m up in the air about the Tot-Tye. I think it can work for some, but not for others.
Interesting though. I’ve never heard of it.
